Global Business Hunter (GBH) is a Venture Tech Co. service. This notice explains the main categories of information used by the GBH website and workspace. It should be reviewed against your final production setup before launch.
Account and workspace data
When you create an account we may process your name, business name, email address, the services you sell, saved business-search preferences and workspace activity. Authentication and workspace data are stored through our configured Supabase services.
Business research and contact data
GBH searches public business information to identify organisations and public business signals that may be relevant to a user's sales research. Registered users can reveal business contact information through configured data providers. A buying signal or opportunity score is a research indicator, not confirmation that an organisation is purchasing a product or service.
Free-trial abuse prevention
To reduce repeated free-account creation and automated scraping, GBH uses a browser/device token, an approximate browser/device signature and network information such as an IP address. The production GBH service is designed to hash these identifiers server-side before storage rather than storing the raw IP address in the GBH trial tables. These signals are used for security, rate limiting and free-trial abuse prevention.
Email and connected mailboxes
Paid users may connect supported mailboxes and send permission-based communications. Google and Microsoft connections use their supported authentication flows where configured. Domain mailboxes may use verified server settings. Users are responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis and any required permission for their communications.
Advertising and cookies
The public website may use Google AdSense after advertising is enabled. Advertising technology may use cookies or similar identifiers. For traffic in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, the production site must use an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform where required. Advertising is intentionally kept out of the private email, inbox and campaign workspace in this GBH build.
Service providers
Depending on the enabled features, GBH may use infrastructure, authentication, AI, contact-data, payment, email and advertising providers. Their processing is subject to their own terms and privacy notices as well as our contractual arrangements.
Retention and security
Search-result intelligence used by the GBH public-discovery service is configured to expire after a limited period. Trial and security events may be retained for abuse prevention and operational auditing. We use access controls and server-side service credentials for protected operations, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
